The CTH clearly shows, physics
and
cosmology are no „objective“ sciences, but are based upon an axiomatic
system of values. The same cannot be avoided for any philosophical or
theological
stucture.
But the sciences of nature have
a decisive advantage: Their statements are verifiable, i. e. they can
be
confirmed by sensual perception. Now, Immanuel Kant had already
expressed
clearly, neither the sensual perception nor the notion we
attribute
to things are identical with the reality. In order to be able to
formulate
“natural laws” at all, we first must decide which subjective standpoint
we choose as a starting base. That means: We only can develop models of
the reality, but never can describe the reality itself. Newton, e. g.,
defined an absolute (abstract) time and the absolute (abstract) space
as
axiomatic premises for his theories and was very successful with this.
Only 200 years later, Einstein could prove, some more subtle areas of
physics
could not be described or, resp., explained by means of the Newton
mechanics
and, starting from the axiom of the universal constancy of the
light
speed, he developed the Theory of Relativity. In this, he linked the
terms
space, time and matter, formerly independent terms, to each other and
thus
revolutionized our notion of the natural phenomena.
The CTH even moves one step further
by eliminating some weaknesses which the Theory of Relativity obviously
contains
when processes in cosmic dimensions or even processes close to
the
big bang are concerned.
According to the CTH, the universe
presents a linked, self-regulating system that is in the state of
dynamic equilibrium.
Time, space, matter and the natural
laws linking them to each other are tightly connected in a way that
causes
the cosmic evlution to remain surprisingly stable. The CTH also
confirms
the vision obtained in many other areas of sciences, holistic systems
present
a completely different quality than that to be expected from the sum of
the qualities of the parts they are consisting of.
Behind this "holistic" quality hides
that part of our reality which, in a mysterious way, is creative in the
cosmos and cannot completely be comprehended rationally. It is a
typical
feature of the CTH, it is only built on premises which are ascertained
so well in science that they are not doubted by the majority of
conservative
phsicists. In spite of its conservative foundation, based on natural
science,
one cannot deny, a component of the CTH is not accessible to ratio, if
one tries to comprehend its substantial statements 1).
It is new that (among others), the CTH links the various basic values
of physics
in such a way that we can no longer speak of “natural constants” in the
conventional (abstract) sense. All values are symbiotically linked to
each
other via the parameter time. Even the beat of time itself varies with
time, if we measure it with the time scale of the Newton time we are
used
to.
Certainly, it will be difficult
to prove the CTH experimentally, absolutely free from doubts, as this
demands
extreme and long term stable measurement accuracies which hardly can be
achieved at the present time. For the time being, it draws its
legitimation
from its ability to solve some fundamental problems of physics and
cosmology,
which the established theories are not able to solve, and that it
imparts
to us an imagination of the evolution of the universe which is
impressively
supported by the latest observation data from the astrophysicists. The
CTH is not more, but also not less, than a theoretical model
which
is able to describe at least a part of the reality more conclusively
than
possible so far.
1) This, by the
way, also applies to the Newton gravitation laws.
Until now, nobody can explain the
gravitation, i. e. give a reason for the fact 2 masses attract each
other.
